How to Hang a Wallpaper BorderUpdated a month ago

Prepare the wallpaper border by first measuring the walls to determine the lengths of border you'll need. Then, cut the wallpaper border to the lengths you measured, adding a small amount to extend beyond the corner.

Unroll about two feet of wallpaper and apply paste to the back using a clean paint roller. After the paste is applied, gently accordion - fold the pasted paper together. Roll out another section of wallpaper border and repeat this process until the entire length of the border is pasted and folded.

Start in the corner of the room that is least conspicuous (usually the corner that's behind you as you enter the room). To hang the wallpaper border, unfold a section of the pasted wallpaper and apply to the wall. Make sure the border is properly aligned and use a wallpaper brush to flatten and smooth out air bubbles and wrinkles. Continue in this manner until you reach the next corner, then begin with the next piece of wallpaper border.
