How to Hang Around a CurveUpdated 4 months ago

Start hanging your strip as normal at the top of the wall. Allowing the wallpaper to drape over the curved obstacle, feel for the edge. Roughly cut away the excess paper over the obstacle and clean away any adhesive residue.

Once the excess has been removed, use a sharp pair of scissors to make relief cuts. Feel for the edge of the molding with one hand and use the scissors to make a series of small relief cuts every few inches along the edge of the obstacle. Then use the smoothing tool to firmly press the wallpaper along the edge of the window casing.

Use a trim guide and a snap blade knife to cut away the excess paper from the ceiling and around the obstacle. Change the blade frequently to keep the cuts clean and prevent the wallpaper from tearing. Be sure to wipe down the wallpaper and the obstacle to remove any adhesive residue.
