How to Hang in a CornerUpdated 4 months ago

Start hanging your wallpaper strip as usual, making sure to match the pattern and butt the seam of the previous strip. Tack the wallpaper to both sides of the corner, then gently push the wallpaper into the corner while smoothing out the side pattern matched to the seam. Reposition the strip as needed.

With the pattern match lined up and set, use a smoothing tool to push the wallpaper into the corner. Next, place the smoothing tool against the wall and use a snap blade knife to cut the corner. Trim away the excess paper from the ceiling of the set side of the corner.

On the new wall, reposition the wallpaper to match the pattern. The corner itself will not be perfectly square, so be sure the seam of the wallpaper is straight and plumb. Smooth out any air bubbles, gently working from the center to the edges. Use a damp sponge to clean the wallpaper.
