This is one of the most important things to get right.

Wallpaper works best on:

• Smooth walls
• Clean, dry surfaces
• Properly primed walls

Painted walls are usually fine, as long as the paint is fully cured and not glossy.

Textured walls:

• Peel & stick usually does NOT stick well
• Traditional wallpaper may work better depending on texture
• Try wall liner

Before installing:

• Clean your walls
• Repair any damage
• Use a wallpaper primer if possible

Good prep makes a huge difference in how your wallpaper looks and lasts.
