We want you to love your purchase! Here's how our return policy works across different product categories.
General Return Guidelines
- Returns must be authorized. Contact us first to receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#).
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging. No exceptions.
- Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
- Subject to a 20% restocking fee unless you opt for store credit.
- Returns must be requested within the allowed timeframe based on product type (see below).
- There are no refunds for delivery refusals or order disputes. Please contact us first so we can help.
💡 Pro-Tip: Always try a sample first, especially peel-and-stick, and leave it on your wall for a week to test adhesion before placing a full order.
Wallpaper Returns
- Return Window: 30 days from delivery unless marked Final Sale.
- Final Sale After 30 Days.
- Wallpaper must be unopened and in its original cellophane.
- Opened or installed wallpaper is final sale.
- Non-returnable brands: Cole & Son, Brunschwig & Fils, Clarke & Clarke, GP&J Baker, Lee Jofa, Scalamandre, Mitchell Black, and Mayflower.
- Commercial wallpaper (sold by the yard) and custom orders are final sale.
- Custom orders with noted lead times cannot be canceled or refunded once in production.
- Accessories, paste, and samples are final sale.
- Batch Matching Note: Wallpaper is printed in dye lots. We cannot guarantee a color match across batches, so please order all rolls at once. For the best color match, order all the rolls you need at once. If you order more later and the batch is different, we can only accept returns on unopened rolls.
Rug Returns
- Return Window: 15 days from delivery.
- Must be unused and in original packaging.
- Rug samples are final sale.
- Final Sale After 15 Days.
Pillow Returns
- All pillow sales are final.
Trade Account Orders
- All trade orders are final sale.
- Due to exclusive discounts, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.
- Please review your order carefully before submitting.
Damaged or Defective Items
- Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- Please include clear photos of the damage or defect.
- We'll replace defective items as needed.
Additional Notes
- Order Changes: Once your order is in processing or has shipped, we're unable to cancel or make changes.
- Adhesion: We do not guarantee that wallpaper will stick to all surfaces. Factors like paint, primer, texture, installation method, and environment can all affect adhesion. Please test with a sample first.
- Installation Responsibility: We are not responsible for damages from inexperienced or improper installation. We recommend hiring a professional installer.
- US Wall Decor reserves the right to refuse refunds for any items that have been opened or are not returned in their original condition.

Refund Processing Time: Please allow 1 to 3 weeks for inspection and processing. Depending on your credit card provider, refunds may take up to two billing cycles.
